Stratton Parish Council will be planting up the troughs at both ends of the village with summer flowers again this year. In previous years, the flowers have been very well received by residents and visitors alike with the Council receiving many compliments. To hopefully build on the theme, this year the Council is offering a gift token of choice to the household judged to have the best flower display in the village.
The flowers can be in a hanging basket, tub(s), trough, window box or border. The only stipulation is that the display must be publicly visible.
Why not join in and help to make our village a floral delight.
Judging will take place during the week of the Summer Fayre.
