8th September 2021 -Railway Improvement work – Grimstone Rail Drop

Network Rail will be carrying out essential work on the railway line passing through the parish.

This work will be carried out from 23.00hrs on 8^th September (today) to 05.00hrs on 10^th September.

The work will involve a rail drop train delivering x 40 rails for an upcoming re-rail project which will be likely to cause considerable amounts of noise.  Some disturbance is unavoidable and Network Rail sincerely apologises for this in advance.
