It is now only 3 days until Census Day, Sunday 21st March.

By Thursday 25th March, Census Engagement will have received the first weekly update of where in Dorset there are concerns over the return rate. The Office of National Statistics will be using this statistical analysis to highlight geographic areas of concern over low take up of Census 2021. This will compare the actual response rate with what is expected given the previous return history of particular geographic locations, down to Parish or Ward level of detail. These statistics will be used to direct the work of the Census Field Staff to specific areas to drive up the return rate.

Stratton Parish Council has been asked to publicise, as much as possible, to our local community that Census 2021 is happening.

The Census form can be completed online as soon as residents receive their unique access code through the post and that the helpline 0800 141 2021 will be open for those who wish to order a paper Census form or to request assistance in completion.
