The  temporary Wessex Water fencing and pipework alongside the A37 footpath leading down to the railway bridge has been removed.  At the request of Stratton Parish Council, and as a result of  recent discussions initiated by the Parish Council with the Highway Community Officer who deals with Stratton, Dorset Highways have now carried out a ‘cut back and tidy up’ of the vegetation that had grown up there, unhindered for the past three years.  This ensures the footpath and cycleway are back to full width and that people can pass each other safely.
