Stratton Parish Council has been in discussion with all the parties concerned with the partial road closure at the west end of Dorchester Road (Yeovil direction) that comes into effect on Monday 9th July, in an attempt to resolve any parking issues that arise as a result.

Unfortunately the Council has been unable to negotiate a totally satisfactory solution and offers the following suggestions:

  1. To park alongside the wall on the road leading to the Saxon Arms.
  2. To park against the tree line on the slip road leading out onto the A37 at the westerly end of the Village.

Stratton Parish Council hopes that any inconvenience to residents will last no longer than the 3 – 4 weeks forecast.

For any further assistance please contact Cllr. Alan Wheeler through the Parish Council website – www.strattondorsetpc.org.uk
