Stratton Parish Council is sorry to have received the resignation of Cllr Alan Wheeler for health reasons.
Cllr Wheeler was co-opted onto the council in November 2016 and re-elected in May 2019. During his time on the council, he has variously taken on the council remit of the village plan, trees, organising the Christmas carol event and more recently become the council’s representative for the Allotment Society, as well as supporting many other village initiatives.
Whilst wishing Cllr Wheeler all the very best for the future, he will be much missed by his friends and colleagues on the parish council.
