Stratton Parish Council has approved a Communication and Guidelines Policy for the parish council which can be found on the parish website at www.strattondorsetpc.org.uk/policies.

The policy outlines the legislation governing the work of a parish council along with the methods the council uses to engage with parishioners and how parishioners can, in turn, contact the parish council. Guidelines on the use of council information are also included.

As the parish is presently without a parish clerk, it is not possible to complete some of the requirements stated in the policy and some of the items covered are still ‘work in progress’ and not yet completely in place. 

Alternative interim contact arrangements for and in the absence of a parish clerk, that are mentioned in the policy, can be found on the SPC website.
