The elections for the new unitary council for Dorset – Dorset Council – and parish elections in the unitary area will be called on 15th March 2019. The elections take place on May 2nd 2019.

If undecided, then why not come along to look, listen and get a feel of what Stratton Parish Council does at its next meeting on Tuesday 19th March at 7:00pm in the Village Hall. Parish Council meetings are always open to all members of the public to attend. Stratton Parish Council has also arranged an open session, with some current parish councillors in attendance, for anyone interested in standing for the parish council in Stratton and who would like to ask questions or discuss any aspect of what being a parish councillor entails. The open session is on Saturday March 23rd 2019, from 2.00 – 4.00pm, in the Aylott Room in the village Hall.
